The members of the Pipes and Drums of the NYPD Emerald Society would like to thank Bandmaster Kevin McDonough and the Board of Officers, as well as dance chairman John M. Sullivan and his committee on another successful Saint Patrick’s Day Dance. The Band would also like to thank all who attended, our faithful supporters. We appreciate your loyalty and enthusiasm.
Congratulations to our first ever “Woman of the Year,” Deputy Commissioner of Administration Cathleen S. Perez. We are truly fortunate to have such an outstanding woman in the NYPD.
Our “Sergeant John Tansey Award” recipient was Ret. Sergeant Robert Ganley, Vice President SBA. Robert has been a member of the band since 1999 and has provided limitless support for which we will always be grateful.
